A Thousand Wines is the website and travel journal of C.J. Levine and Brianne Day Levine. The title of the site refers to our goal to taste and review at least one thousand different wines during our 16 month (+/-) trip around the world.

Brianne will be studying enology and viticulture (grape growing and winemaking) when we return, and we are capitalizing on the space in time between my engineering education ending and Brianne’s education beginning. We hope to see the world, learn about wine, and examine the similiarities and differences of most of the world’s wine producting regions and cultures.

Being the fledgling gourmets that we are, we will also be cataloging all the best dishes, desserts, beers, and treats that we discover on our travels.

My personal and professional interest in the great works of engineering and architecture will also be a focus from time to time as we visit places such as Ankor Wat, Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia, and the Eiffel Tower. We hope that you enjoy exploring the world with us.
