I like the way the letters making up the words making up today’s date sound - they’re melodic. I think July 15th is just about the most perfect day of the year. You can always bet on it being gorgeous on July 15th, neither too hot nor too cold, and nary a cloud in the sky. The middle of summer - I always think of June July and August as being summer even though they’re not techinically (July August and September are technically), probably because when I was a kid those were the months off from school. And July is smack in the middle, and the 15th is smack in the middle of that.
Smack.
Also a good sounding word.

Hi Bri:
Actually I went for a walk today and as you described it was hot but not humid and I specifically noticed there was nary a cloud in the sky. A perfect summer day.
Hope you are well.
I miss you!
Love, Lori

Hey I really like the photos of the sun behind the grass! Beautiful shots. Plus I have a thing for long stem grass, not only for nostalgia sake, but so much movement in a field in the wind, so many angles in the seed head of one blade. It makes great drawing fodder. IMO.

Some beautiful and artisitic photos in both this post and others. I especially like the wheat in the sunshine. Very enchanting.
